Delete account

Deleting your account takes two taps

You do not have to call us, write an email or explain why. Deletion is inside the app and it works immediately.

From the app

1. Open the Settings tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
3. Tap Delete in the confirmation dialog. We ask for confirmation because the operation cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account, at the same time:

• Your account details and sessions
• Your assessment answers and the profile derived from them
• Your programs, sessions and decision trails
• Your body analysis results and measurements
• Your food logs, meal plans and shopping lists
• Your coach chat history
• Your quota and subscription records

Your body photos were never stored on our servers to begin with — they drop out of memory the moment they are analysed. The comparison copies on your phone go when you delete the app.

How long it takes

From the database, immediately. It stays in backups for at most 30 days; as backups rotate it drops out of those too. We write 30 days because that is our backup retention period; saying anything shorter would be a promise we could not keep.

If you have a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — the subscription lives on the store side (App Store or Google Play) and can only be cancelled there. Cancel first from inside the app with Settings → Cancel subscription — it is at the top of Settings, one tap — and then delete your account. If you do it the other way round, billing continues.

If you cannot reach the app

If you lost your phone or already deleted the app, write to info@swiip.app from the email address on your account. We will send a confirmation code to that address to verify your identity — so that nobody can have someone else's account deleted. The request is completed within 30 days at the latest; in practice it takes a few days.

If you want your data before deleting

Settings → Privacy and data → Export my data writes everything we store into a single JSON file and opens the share sheet; you can send the file wherever you like. We recommend taking it before deleting — we cannot bring it back afterwards.
